1 chicken cut into parts.
1-2 cloves pressed garlic
1 cup white wine
3 tbs fresh parsley
1-2 stalks celery, sliced thin
1 lemon sliced thin (with peel on)
1 lb cooked egg noodles.
Put ingredients in a pot. Bring to boil. lower heat to low simmer and cover pot. Ready in 45 minutes. serve chicken and broth over egg noodles.
This is my grandma's recipe for Northern Italian style of chicken cacciatore. Most people only know the Sicilian style with red sauce.
